Als Kind und junger Schüler besuchte er sowohl evangelische wie katholische Sonntagsmessen. Er nahm an spiritistischen Gnaua-Sessionen in Marokko teil, liess sich von einfachen Bauern in Kenia in die Geheimnisse der Baumgeister (Dschinns) einweihen und sah in Nongkhai, Thailand, die unerforschten (weil unerforschbaren ?) orangen Nagabälle aus dem Megkong steigen. In Neapel erlebte er wie das Blut des heiligen San Gennaro flüssig wurde. Er mag den spielerischen Umgang mit dem Glauben.In Amerika gingen ihm die „christlichen“ TV Prediger gehörig auf den Geist.
2005 initiierte er die CHRISTLICHE INTERNATIONALE. Eine offene Gruppe für Christen – antifundamentalistisch und ausserkirchlich.
